Trauma Evaluations for Asylum Applicants:

According to PHR statistics, asylum applicants have a far greater likelihood of obtaining asylum status when evaluated by a PHR trained clinician, following  the PHR standard protocol.  I follow the Asylum Network Istanbul Protocol for asylum applicants.

Forensic Trauma Evaluations:

Forensic evaluations follow protocols for diagnosing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). I am an expert witness, with court-room experience.  Forensic evaluations cannot be charged to insurance.

Trauma Evaluations for Diagnosis and Treatment:

Trauma evaluations are important when a diagnosis is unclear. It is sometimes difficult to differentiate a psychotic presentation from a highly dissociative presentation, or the degree to which PTSD is impacting other conditions.  It can be especially difficult to diagnose children when trauma is suspected.  However, a correct diagnosis is essential for proper treatment.
